Description 01

Firefighter Job

A firefighter job for ESX and QBCore that turns fire response into real teamwork. Your department gets called out, crews roll up together, and everyone works the same fire until it is out. Rewards split based on how much damage each firefighter did to the fire, so the people who actually fought it get paid.

What it does

  • Team firefighting: extinguish a fire together and split the reward by damage done to it.
  • Portable hose system: use and refill it with the watertank item.
  • Fire extinguisher and firetruck extinguishing support alongside the hose.
  • XP support so firefighters level up over time.
  • Multiple department support, each with its own setup.
  • Random fire scenarios, with more addable through the config.
  • Build your own fire types in the config.
  • Players can trigger fires through explosions, weapons, and gas tanks. Due to FiveM limitations this does not cover things like car explosions.

Firefighter tools

  • Saw open vehicles to reach trapped players.
  • Drag players out of vehicles.
  • Carry players.

Interaction and menus

  • Works with both third-eye and keypress interaction.
  • Department store, vehicles, duty, and boss menu using esx_society / qb-management.
  • Dispatch supportable through Config.Alerts to send the event.
  • Exports for fire targeting if you want to run another hose system.
  • Exports so you can hook the job into other scripts.

Requirements

  • ESX (1.1+) or QBCore, or code your own bridge for your framework. The bridge is fully accessible.
  • Ox Lib, required and works anywhere.

Optional metadata support

Not required to use the script, but it lets you generate items with metadata.

  • QBCore
  • Ox Inventory
  • ESX, only if your inventory provider allows metadata through xPlayer.addInventoryItem.

Installation

  • Rename the folder to pickle_firefighterjob.
  • Open the _INSTALL folder and install the files for the items and jobs.
  • Set the outfits in the config to match your server's clothing settings.
  • Restart the server.
