Free Electus AI Bodyguard System

AI ped assistance for servers that need it. Players rent bodyguards from shops, gangs recruit muscle off the street, and police type /backup to have AI reinforcements come flying in. If your server is thin on active cops or criminals, this evens out the fight for everyone.

Three types of bodyguard

Police, gang and regular. Each type can be locked behind a job, so only real officers can pull police reinforcements. Every bodyguard is good at different things, split across shooting, driving and armor, so who you hire changes how they fight.

How hiring works

• A bodyguard is rented for a selectable amount of time, and the price follows the time you pick.
• The bodyguard stays until the contract runs out or you terminate it. Terminating deletes them completely.
• Claim insurance spawns a fresh bodyguard when your last one dies. This can only be done inside a shop.
• Put on leave or reinstate parks a bodyguard when you don't want them active right now.

Commanding them

• Interact with a single bodyguard through a target system or the default G key to tell them to stay, follow, or go on leave.
• Command all your bodyguards at once with /bodyguard_stay and /bodyguard_follow.
• Bodyguards follow you into vehicles and defend you from attackers.
• The built-in vehicle menu lets a bodyguard take the wheel and drive you to a waypoint or just around town.

Configuration

Most of the script is yours to set: ped models, weapon models, all prices, price deductions, speed metrics, maximum slots and currency. Add your own weapons to a bodyguard or have players buy the weapon along with them. In theory you can run unlimited bodyguards, though for obvious reasons that isn't recommended.

The UI is clean and easy to use, and you can switch its theme in the settings.

Performance

Idle sits at 0.00ms. With bodyguards out and a heavy task running, it peaks at 0.06 to 0.08ms.
