Description 01

Bail & Bounty Enforcement System

This is a bail enforcement job for your city. Players can become bounty hunters, and officers can place other players on parole. It ties the courts, the police and a new hunter role into one loop.

Parole is the hook. A player placed on bail has to report to a Parole Officer NPC for each day of their sentence. Miss a meeting and bail is revoked automatically, which puts them on the bounty list for hunters to track down.

Bail & Parole

  • Players on bail attend daily parole meetings with a Parole Officer NPC.
  • Each meeting sends them out to do community service to stay compliant.
  • Missing a meeting automatically revokes bail and opens them up to bounty hunters.
  • Anyone on bail wears an ankle monitor that shows their position to all on-duty officers.
  • Players can cut the monitor off, which alerts police (requires configuring a dispatch event).
  • Any officer with bail management permission can pardon or revoke bail.

Bounty Hunting

  • Players with permission can clock in and pull a loadout.
  • The default loadout includes a Tazer that only works on valid bounty targets, so it stops taze abuse.
  • NPC bounties generate on their own at low, medium, or high risk.
  • Risk level drives which scenarios the NPC runs, including fleeing on foot, fleeing by vehicle, assault, and deadly assault with a weapon.
  • Hunters can take on bounties together, and when a bounty is turned in you and the hunter both get paid.
  • Turning a player bounty over to an officer gives the officer and hunter a bonus multiplier.

Targets & Frameworks

  • Supports ox-target, qb-target, qtarget, and running with target disabled.
  • Supports ESX and QB out of the box, and the bridge is open so you can add support for other frameworks or target systems.

Requirements

  • ESX (1.1+), QBox, or QB, or code your own bridge. The bridge is fully accessible.
  • Ox Lib (required, works anywhere).

Install

  • Install the items shown in the INSTALL folder.
  • ensure pickle_bailbounty.
  • Enable or disable the target option in the config depending on your server's target resource.
  • Restart the server.
